It might be time to move to a more senior friendly state. We have 43 acres, (30 in hay and 14 in hardwoods), a 70 year old farm house, and a 30x40 tractor/equipment building. Property taxes are around $650 a year.We live in a beautiful County with low property taxes. We don’t have many “services” but wouldn’t change anything.
And I realize my acreage math didn’t add up. We gave the daughter an acre. She has part of what was a hay field. 😁
