Today marks 15 months since the institution of the infamous “Flatten the Curve,” AKA The Deep State’s Plot to Drive Us Crazy, Make Us Stupid, and Take Over the World (in order to make the world safe for China and/or the Deep State and/or New World Order crew to take it over).
As readers of this series are aware from my last post, I do not believe that the Deep State is done with us despite the increased numbers of maskless faces we have seen these last few weeks. I think the opening of the country, removal of mask mandates, etc. is just a tease before further psychological manipulation returns at the end of the summer.
I have no news to opine about. I’ve been on a whirlwind trip and must confess I am woefully behind on reading fellow freepers’ posts and the news in general. I don’t even know what time it is since I am a couple time zones removed from home base.
I can report that people in Wisconsin and Minnesota surprised me in a positive way when it came to them going around sans mask. I would have thought there would have been more holdouts there than in Ohio, but that is not the case. Caveat: I wasn’t in the big cities. But more of the servers and clerks in those states were unmasked as compared to the servers and clerks in Ohio and Indiana.
Some jackass gov recently demanded/mandated support for ubiquitous mail-in ballots.
Probably where they got the idea at the big Election Officials convention.
Most significant?
People doing this, everywhere, should keep the corruptocrats and
republicants, and the commies and the crooks too busy for business
as usual!

Year 2, Week 12: “What Is the Most Significant Development?”
They still don’t know what they need to know enough about covid nor the vaccine. That’s obvious.
Fauci's Achilles Heal has been found, the "Gain of Function" virus research that he funded in Wuhan. If our fearless leader, Clueless Joe, tries to shutdown the United States again, all the facts will come tumbling out how Fauci is involved in the cause of the Pandemic. And the house of cards will come tumbling down.
The Press now supporting him will turn on him like Brutus with Cesare since the outrage will be too great.
The first was during the Memorial Golf tournament, where John Rahm posted a comfortable lead going into the last round. He was playing lights-out golf, and appeared to have an insurmountable 6 or 7-shot lead. No symptoms were present, and he didn't need a ventilator or hospitalization following his round. Still, he was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to the PGA's COVID protocols.
The second that I'm following, is the cruise ship that just returned to the States with two COVID-positive passengers. Supposedly, all the passengers were vaccinated prior to leaving on the trip. What were the details around these two patients? What vaccine did they take, and where did they acquire the disease, assuming that their test results are accurate.
If these passengers somehow caught a whiff of coronavirus but their bodies were actively fighting it, does it really matter? Were these passengers symptomatic in any way? Did they have some variant of corona for which the vaccines were only partially effective?
Again, these are two events that keep COVID looming over us, at least in the media. Do governments continue to exploit it? I don't think the public will continue to tolerate restrictive measures, even masks, but I'm surprised people still tolerate, some even welcome, the masks as much as they do.
Thanks for the information.
I did not know that about the golfer. I caught something vague about a golfer but only in passing.
Was he “fully vaccinated?” Why so much Covid testing if so many people are vaxxed? Was he tested initially and then a couple days later too and was negative the first time?
How close to other people have to be to professional golfers when they play in tournaments, which are obviously outdoors? Do officials and caddies have to be less than six feet away?
I never heard whether or not he (Rahm) was vaccinated. I heard some chatter on social media that "he should've got the vaccine, so shame on him!" That seems to imply that he may have ignored the opportunity to get vaccinated, but I don't know for certain.
He was tested per the PGA COVID protocol. It's not something he, or any other player volunteered for doing. I believe they are tested daily, and his previous tests from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were negative. Apparently, his test from Saturday morning was positive, so they re-ran the sample, which is also according to their protocol. When the second test was also found positive, they waited for him to finish his round (I don't know when those second set of results were known), and they approached him as he left the last green.
As for golf logistics, the person that the golfer is closest to during a round is their caddy. They frequently speak face-to-face, in close proximity of each other. If my memory is correct, I believe Rahm fist-bumped or shook hands with his playing partner and caddy after the round. On some holes, it's possible that a golfer could be within "social distance" range of a fan--again, they're all outside where wafts of wind disperse any stray virus-ridden water vapor.
Naturally, there's been no follow-up from anyone as to whether other reports of COVID came from this "super-spreader" event. (You know that media and some Karens of the world scrutinize golf because they were one of the first sporting events to "get back to normal.") No mention of whether the caddy or playing partner was infected, no mention of fans.
The CDC felt surprised enough to call an "emergency" meeting over this. It must have been a surprise, otherwise why call the meeting an "emergency?"
It begs the question...
Does it concern anyone that these "surprises" still seem to be popping up on something that was deemed to be safe? Does it put into question the credibility of a "safe" designation when new surprises keep popping up after something was deemed safe? Is it possible that there is a desire to stick to the "safe" designation because too much reputation is at stake to back away from it now?
Am I wrong to say that the scientists seem to be caught off-guard when a new side-effect pops up? What's the deal with the recent discussion of muscle tissue and the vaccine supposed to stay there or not? Is this something to be concerned about? Did I read correctly that they expected the vaccine to remain localized in the muscle tissue but it's spreading to the organs? If so, even if it's not a danger it was an unexpected surprise, yes?
Why are we still being surprised by things that we're told are safe?

Thank you for clarifying—hadn’t heard those details.
