I have done 36 cruises before, with half a dozen different cruise outfits. The demographics has changed over the years.
My 1st cruise was in 1988 and it was more seniors and people in their 50’s. Now it is a mix of young and old and many children.
Families with children have discovered what a bargain a cruise vacation is and how stress free it is. The children get free baby sitting and excellent counselors to entertain the kids all day long. I think the kids have more fun than the adults.
We made the mistake of taking our 5 & 3 year old kids on their first cruise, and then they would not let us ever go without them! Before they went on to college, our kids had done 16 cruises with us.
Ok sell me a cruise. Florida departure. Price / date unimportant. PR/Bermuda unimportant but ok either way. Can be a Mickey or non-Mickey, and would definitely like a private island stop for a day or longer; plus premium food/beverage and must have hi-speed wifi.
