The viral video isn’t just a record of a single ugly episode; instead, it tells where our society is heading on its current trajectory.
On Friday, a very disturbing video emerged and instantly went viral. It showed a young Amazon driver viciously punch an older woman who had been unhappy with a slow delivery. While the video is shocking on its own, it’s also a loudly clanging warning about the dangers of Critical Race Theory (“CRT”), especially when allied with other leftist doctrines commonly taught to the young, including the claim that words are violence. As CRT expands throughout America, expect more attacks like this one.
You can see the whole episode in this video. Please note that the older woman had finished speaking and was walking away from the driver, Itzel Ramirez, when Ramirez suddenly went berserk – and, as the tweet notes, Ramirez still claimed self-defense:
Doug Smith, the owner of the apartment complex, told NBC Bay Area that the resident asked Ramirez about the package after she received an alert that it had arrived. Ramirez reportedly told her to be patient. After 15 minutes went by, Ramirez was approached by the resident again.
According to the sheriff's office, Ramirez said something about “white privilege” and the resident in return called her a “[expletive].” Deputies say Ramirez then hit the older woman 10 times in the face. The woman sustained injuries to her face and head and likely suffered a broken nose, officials said.

I think you refer to our fools here in Maryland.
Silver Spring this time last year tons of white fools of all sexes (it’s MD, after all) kneeling with “hands up” to some “pastor” and his words to repeat.
I remember the good old days when CRT stood for Cathode Ray Tube ...
First, while 67, the “elderly” woman doesn’t look so.
2nd, I assumed the “expletive” would be the s word, but this article indicates the b word. Bit of disconnected writing, so not sure which.
3rd, white customer just takes the beating and simply continues “discussing” with the..,Amazon worker. She didn’t run away but doesn’t respond in kind. She could have; as I said, she’s not that “old”.
Probably settle for just thousands
I too.
The author warns us of a pertinent point.
When people consider mere words to be “violence,” they feel justified in using physical retaliation in “self defense.”
I never picked that up before. We need to call out the “Words are violence” lie whenever we hear it.
I wish the woman had something to defend herself, then the POS would be a lifeless mass of ugly cytoplasm.
B I G L Y !!!!!!
A good Philadelphia lawyer would be inclined to have a different opinion! My guess is that if this woman is smart, she will accept the services of an excellent ambulance chaser. If she hires such a person, I'm guessing that Amazon will settle out of court with the stipulation that the settlement be kept confidential. If she plays her cards right, she will become a very wealthy woman.
I am sure "white privilege" will be violence too. And if you are white you have white privilege and commit violence just by breathing.
Got a signed copy.
It’s going to be happening to white kids who are in the minority at public schools. There are going to be beat downs at recess after hours of CRT lectures saying how bad white people were and are
1-she wasn’t expecting it
2-she was too busy protecting her head to fight back!
I hope she gets a very tidy sum ......Amazon can afford it
You don’t know what kind of physical condition she is in.....before the beating
She’s simply trying to get her keys out and get inside
When people consider mere words to be “violence,” they feel justified in using physical retaliation in “self defense.”
I am sure some angry parents will provide some cancel back due to critical educator theory. The teachers would have first hand experience in the theory that turnabout is fair play.
Judge, Jurors how do you find ?
Jurors, Your honor we find that Itzel Ramirez, “is a Bit_h !”
And since “silence is violence”, no words are even necessary.
Two things have happened to create this situation.... 1. The idea to be accepted that words alone justify a physical response (retaliation) and 2. that a person should be believed who says “I had the right to respond the way I did because those words were spoken to me.”
That either one of these should be accepted as true is disgusting and deadly. Words might matter but words alone don’t justify any kind of physical response, especially in the context of a discussion between two people where it’s hard to justify much beyond annoyance and an attitude of “You’re somebody I’ll definitely avoid” or “you’re someone who I need to be very careful around etc.”....words have meanings that change from one week to the next, words that don’t have a common definition to everyone, words that can be easily misinterpreted etc. etc.
As for the second part of this, this is as stupid as “believe all women”. On what grounds should anything be believed unless there is a verified audio recording of it or other witnesses? It is loony judges who have created this situation by repeatedly letting thugs off the hook including similar cases where murder was the outcome that were discussed here on FR this past week...
