My tree had two crops in 2020. I think I most have 300-400 per. I gave so many away.
My friend introduced me to smoked guacamole.
Put avacado halves in a smoker for about 30 minutes. Then use the traditional recipe. Woo Hoo. Good stuff.
I remember having an avocado tree when I lived in SoCal. But now I watch the prices going up and up. Gotta have yummy avocados, my source of potassium, because bananas taste awful to me and make me barf.
I am suffering from a severe case of avocado envy right now!
Used to winter down in Homestead, Florida—the place where we stayed had a grove of avocado trees and I was in hog heaven :)
