NASA is now on the perplexing UFO case.
NASA chief Bill Nelson, who assumed his post just last month, has asked agency researchers to look into the spate of UFO sightings that U.S. Navy pilots have reported over the past two decades, CNN reported.
"Now that I'm here at NASA, I've turned to our scientists and I've said, 'Would you, looking at it from a scientific standpoint, see if you can determine [what these objects are], so that we can have a better idea?'" Nelson told CNN's Rachel Crane in an interview that the network posted online Friday (June 4).
"The bottom line is, we want to know," he added. "And that's what we're trying to do."

The six-month deadline is almost up. And we've already gotten a sneak peak at the investigation's findings, thanks to The New York Times, which talked to sources familiar with it. We shouldn't expect a blockbuster announcement, according to the Times story; its headline is "U.S. finds no evidence of alien technology in flying objects, but can't rule it out, either."

Some people want much disclosure and the credit that goes with it and others want the entire matter to go back in the closet.
China said yesterday that they are investigating UAP (they call them Unidentified Air Conditions) and we know they never lie.
Can we expect a shirtless Putin to announce that the Kremlin has joined the hunt?
The subject came up at a press conference and Nelson lit up when he realized that speaking about UFO’s guarantees a lot of face time with the cameras.
As they say, absence of proof is not proof of absence.

I will offer this observation....prior to 1963, NASA handled most all of the UFO reporting and analysis, and for some reason...about 3 months prior to Kennedy’s assassination, he ordered the the program to be brought/controlled within the White House. This was revoked after the assassination, and the Pentagon appears to have gotten the reporting/analysis business.
So Project Sogn which started in 1947, Project Grudge which followed in 1948, and most famously Project Blue Book which was ongoing from 1952 to 1969, all run by the Air Force out of Wright-Patterson in Ohio, never really happened? Any more JFK conspiracy nonsense you’d like to share?
What is their problem? Just consult the Quran for the answers to all their questions! That's what NASA is all about - muslim outreach!
Going from one extreme(no UFOs) to another(UFOs are everywhere). When will Bill Nelson tell us about his trip to Alpha Centauri with his good UFO buds ?
Considering the distances an extraterrestrial would need to travel to get here, they would have to possess an extraordinary level of technology. Certainly with such technology they would have the ability to cloak themselves from being seen by our primitive technology. Even we have achieved the ability to make our aircraft nearly invisible to radar, so it would be logical to assume their capabilities to avoid detection would be far advanced from ours.
Another consideration is why would a civilization capable of intragalactic travel bother coming here. We certainly have nothing of technology that would interest them and if they can travel across the galaxy the idea they would need to come here for some resource vital to them is far fetched. Do they want to study us as we study lesser species like insects? Perhaps they would be curious about us, but again the resources needed for travel across the galaxy would make it questionable they would bother to study in their view such a primitive species. The stuff of science fiction that space aliens come in conquest to subjugate us and colonize our planet also isn’t a particularly compelling explanation why they would be here. Certainly there would be worlds far closer to conquer and if that was their intent we would be likely already overrun with their far superior technology.
Could aliens be here by accident? Perhaps and that could explain their cautious approach. However, even if they were here by some accident (or to obtain extended warranty on their space craft in follow up to all those radio calls) they would likely want to use their technology to keep us from seeing them.
So what are these unexplained phenomena? Certainly something we should investigate, but space aliens are probably not the explanation.

As an aside (i.e., not directed at you), I'll bet back in the 1800's folks thought that extraterrestrials couldn't get there because there are no rail lines or stagecoaches in outer space.
The UFO narrative is being pushed because one day the Only Wise God and our Heavenly Father will catch away all true believers in Jesus Christ...also known as the rapture of the true church of Jesus Christ.

The interesting thing about this development is how a once untouchable subject is gaining has rockstar appeal.

How come we have satellites with cameras sophisticated enough to get a clear photograph of a license plate on the ground, but the best videos we have of UFOs show grainy little dots moving erratically all over the place?
