Seed Savers - we had a store on Monroe Street in Madison, WI. I worked there for 8 years. When Kent & Diane divorced, we closed the store and moved all operations back to the farm at Decorah, IA.

I remember that store. I was sad when they closed.

I went to high school just down the road from there. My schedule sometimes got goofy and left me with a bunch of free periods in a row, so I'd wander over to the seed shop and wish I had a big enough garden to grow every single variety.

I think I even used one of the books I got there for a class research project.

I remember us wondering if we had crossed paths there before we met elsewhere. ;)

Wait a minute - you weren’t one of ‘those people’ that would bring coffee and danish into my store, sit their butts down in our comfy seats and get crumbs, frosting and coffee all over my books now, were you?

LOL! No, I would’ve remembered THAT! ;)
