Stopping in Bismarck North Dakota for lunch right now. Traveling with family members. Have NOT seen 1 person with a mask on. Beautiful sunny day...lots of smiling faces.

FYI

😎

What's it like being in America?

Is it nice? Is it all they say it is?

Are there any trees or mountains in ND?

I visited Minot, ND, for a week when my sister and former Bro-in-Law (Air Force) lived there. His job was to guard the missile silos, and there were plenty of them scattered around the area.

He then transferred to Carswell AFB in Texas where he guarded “bomber row” where the B-52s were then parked. That was many years ago.

There’s another freeper/freeq stopping in Bismarck, ND this afternoon. Things that make you go Hmmmmnnnn.....

It looks like as if you were in Bismarck about 1.5 hours before I was.

We had lunch and then drove around town and then to the capitol complex, which was rathe different. Spending the next two nights a bit west of Bismarck.

As for dead animals, I’ve spent the last three days driving from Ohio through Wisconsin and Minnesota and have seen a below average number of dead animals on the side of the road. I think the animals in Ohio are just dumber. I have seen fewer dead deer in the 1300 plus miles I have driven than in your average stretch of 30 miles in Ohio. The same for skunks, raccoons, and ground hogs.

I cannot say the same for bugs committing suicide by slamming into windshields or birds taking out their aggression by crapping on cars.

I have seen nary a store clerk or waitstaff in Wisconsin or Minnesota wearing a mask, nor that many of the public in either state. The ones who wore masks tended to be below 30 and ethnic. Waitstaff in Indiana wore masks as did more customers than in either Wisconsin or MN. I purposely did not get out of the car in Illinois, so I have nothing to report.

ND has been the same as WI and MN.

The women in MN and WI seem to be fond of wearing minimal amounts of clothing in general. Bikini tops are popular.

I’m pretty tired and somewhat wasted right now, so that is all for now.

You wouldn’t happen to be headed back to Michigan though S.D., would you?

If so, check out the S.D. thread:
