I just sometimes wonder how one of us might inwardly wince while reading an insult about someone else’s looks that hits them too close to home... or how much we’d be dishing out about other people’s looks, if each of us had to display an actual (unretouched) photo of ourselves next to our posts.

You hit it. I am 68. When I was younger..I turned some heads. Today...I have had fibromyalgia for over 25 years. You cannot describe what it does. In the last few months it’s been unreal. I am 5’10”. I am down to 130 lbs. I would either scare you, give you something to make fun of, or pity.
People like me see people making fun of others..and all I see is being made fun of.
I am a Christian. There are some things I cannot do. Making fun of how someone looks is one of them.
