As you may know, when I come across what I deem a worthy and outstanding quote, and I remember to do it, I like to meme that sucker and make it into a plaque as a reward for excellence to the author.

I could obviously do that with every word outta my fingers, but that would just be overkill, and diminish the importance of the plaques for other, less able creatures.

But I said something so profound, such a basic truth, that even I was impressed with myself. I was talking to a crazy person (Humblegunner the Bumpkin) about the covid, when this flew forth from my brain and onto the page.

I will share it with you, my people.

HUMOR SLIDE:

Donald Trump, George Bush and Joe Biden were captured by a militant group in a small central American country and were set to be executed by a firing squad. Donald Trump was the first one placed against the wall and just before the order was given he yelled out “Earthquake”. The firing squad fell into a panic and Donald Trump jumped over the wall and escaped during the confusion.

George Bush was the second one placed against the wall. The squad was reassembled and George pondered what he had just witnessed. Again before the order was given George yelled out “Tornado”. Again the squad fell apart and George slipped over the wall.

The last person Joe Biden was placed against the wall. He was thinking, I see the pattern here, just scream out something about a disaster and hop over the wall. He confidently refused the blindfold as the firing squad was reassembled.

As the rifles were raised in his direction, he grinned from ear to ear and yelled “Fire!”.

the trouble with the anti vax types is that they don't distinguish the various vaccines.

The mRNA vaccines are “new” so maybe you should fear them, but the AstraZeneca and Sputnik vaccines are based on the same adenovirus technique that is 20 years old and was used in the Ebola vaccine. And the Sinovax, from China, may only protect half the time, but it uses the same “attenuated virus” technique that is over a century old.

And it's not just against covid shots:

We saw this when I worked in Africa years ago. And the result is that mission hospitals and clinics were attacked by the communist insurgencies because we were evil, just like those giving out vaccines in Nigeria and Pakistan are being killed nowadays by Islamist insurgents because the mullahs said they are an evil plot by western infidels.

If you are healthy, then fine. Get the disease and you will get long term immunity to covid. But some of us are at high risk and need the shot. (I am over 70, and just got the Astrazeneca shot here in the Philippines).

And yes, I agree that the “hysteria” to force everyone to get the shot ignores both the long term immunity from mild cases and ignores the Ivermectin data out of India.
