Mighty bold talk, for a hippy.
You guys know me. I like to break EVERYTHING down to its simplest form. Because (watch this) AT THE END OF THE DAY (I HATE that phrase) EVERYTHING is simple. If anything seems complicated, its because people added a bunch of unnecessary gobbledygook to it to confuse the issue and baffle with boosheet.
That's marxists. All that Marx/Engels hoopla is just hogswoggle to confuse stupid people. All 'leftism' is exactly that. How do I know this? Because this...
Critical theory is a Marxist approach to social philosophy that focuses on reflective assessment and critique of society and culture in order to reveal and challenge power structures.
Its just about power, and only about power. Because as we know, if Marxists had their way and 'took down the current (or former, let's be honest) power structures, those structures would necessarily be replaced by other power structures.
Because there will ALWAYS be power. That's just how life works. And, as we've seen demonstrated by ACTUAL history, those power structures are ALWAYS evil, destructive, and deadly.
Why? Because the purveyors and practitioners of these new, unnatural systems are evil, destructive, and deadly. 'The ends justify the means' is their mantra. And their 'means' are never good.
Another simple truth is, so-called 'capitalism' (I hate that Marxist term) is based on natural human behavior. Men working together, striving together in cooperation for advancement and survival. Being able to retain and trade freely for themselves, their own 'fruits of production' (another Marxist term).
Profit from those fruits being the incentive to strive and produce those very fruits.
Marxism (revenge of the nerds) seeks to topple that natural system. Once that is monkeyed with, only negative, unintended consequences can be the result. One example is unions. Unions, though a reasonable solution to abuse at one time, have resulted in the weakening of the work force, productivity, and advancement and society and civilization by extension.
The same holds true of feminism, 'diversity', affirmative action. gay 'rights' and a host of other social 'modifications' of the power structure.
Think of FDR and Lyndon Johnson's 'welfare' transfers of capital. Did they not result in a permanent and unbudgeable underclass? Where before there had been the highest level of upward mobility in human history?
Did they not result in broken families, increases in crime, drug use, and many other unintended consequences?
They say communism sounds pretty on paper, but does it? Does forcibly taking from one to give to the other sound pretty? Or does it sound like sanctioned theft and slavery, forcing a man to labor for free. For if he cannot keep the results of that labor, he is surely working for nothing. He is working for 'the state' and is a slave to the state.
Yes. Communism is very simple and easy to understand if you make it simple and cut through the boosheet.
Freedom and Liberty are not just pretty words.

Yup, purty much wot eye rote...
“By golly, gosh...if we all can’t be equal in prosperity, we surely can be equal in misery (with ME and my buddies in charge and raking in the big bucks. Er, aah, umm...,I mean showing the way).”
Did they not result in broken families, increases in crime, drug use, and many other unintended consequences?

It’s true that there were consequences. One has to wonder, though just how unintended those results were.
I took a second cut and made it so simple, even a liberal can understand.
