I’m retired but work part-time in a bar when I’m in the US. I’m relatively sure my boss would never require employees to be vaccinated. Early on last year when our governor came out with all these silly mask and social distance protocols we pretty much made a mockery of them and so did the customers. One of older regular customers was sick for a couple of days, sitting at the end of the bar on his usual stool coughing and sneezing. We made COVID19 jokes at his expense, he would laugh and tell us to f*ck off. Then we all had an “oh shit” moment when he didn’t show up one day because he was in the hospital with COVID19 respiratory problems. He was back at the bar four days later and life continued as usual.
Unless better, more reassuring info comes out about the “vaccines” I guess I will be forced to get one because I’m sure it will be required for international travel.

I’s sue. My Doctor will not sign off for me to get the shot.
(of course, most doctors won’t due to possible libel - but we won’t tell them that).

Actually the federal lien is not exactly that an employer can legally require an employee to get the Covid-19 vaccine. The actual federal analysis was there is not a FEDERAL law that prevents/prohibits that.

However, there might be state laws to consider and no doubt the employers attempts to mandate the vaccines will likely get some court challenges.

In those court challenges, I think the challengers will U.S. vaccine history and science on their side.

An employer would be required to defend a vaccine mandate. They would need to use some science for that defense. You cannot do that without putting into question why the employers do not, and never did, make getting a seasonal flu vaccine mandatory. All anyone has to do for the science is to look at the demographic and fatality rate data for the seasonal flu and Covid-19, and what is expected with Covid-19 at this point, and understand that there is no defense of Covid-19 vaccine mandates, given that there never has been for the seasonal flu. If the latter has never been required there is no reasonable defense of the former.
