It’s an interesting resource, to be sure, but you have to carry your own machete to cut through the jungle there sometimes. Maybe no lefties (except the occasional troll-bot), but it has its own types of weirdo infestations that crop up with frequency - mostly anti-Semites, ‘dead celebrities are alive’ cultists, and flerfers - love that new word I learned here!

And as far as the phone number, I am the same way, and only agreed to try it because I have a tracfone for emergency and travel that almost never gets used anymore. All they want the number for is to text you a verification code that you need to enter in the app - and I don’t know why they can’t do that by email - but they have not bothered me since.
