As I suspected (having extensive lab work in instrumental chemical analysis), the MRI does no \source\ the metal and can only affect (”move”) metal in the human body if that metal is already there - surgical implants or shrapnel.
If it does “move” metal (that is already there) it will always move, as a whole, toward the magnet and not “shoot” through the body.
My father in law had a wire in his ear due to a defect in his stapes bone connected to his eardrum. He later had a brain injury and they could not do an MRI in fear of the wire either heating up or moving.
