Car Slide Ladies, but there’s a Catholic Church if you read thru the VW thread below.
Long before I came out of the cold and joined as a FReeQ I noticed that there were, on Free Republic, folks who appreciated the design genius of Ferdinand Porshe and the organizational genius of Heinz Nordoff. In fact I kept a list of those who I thought were in this catagory. Misplaced that list some time ago, but do, sort of, remember that Dis was on that list.
A few months ago there were some comments about old VWs and some shared their memories of these unique cars. I really appreciated those comments and am also a fan. While not being able to attend the SD join up, I will be making a road trip in an old VW. The road trip started earlier in the year, was interupted, and will resume this weekend.
