Waaaaaa!!!!! Someone topped a few trees.
Well you shouldn’t cut down trees - unless they are on your own property.
i hope they made 2x 4 out of them that chit is gold
“There’s definitely a lot of nature that could produce million-dollar views out here”
So a wealthy home owner or developer had them whacked and will pay some fines, make a very insincere apology and enjoy their million dollar view, because you can’t uncut trees.
They weren’t theirs to top.
How about I cut down all your trees for firewood?
“Waaaaaa!!!!! Someone took my trees for firewood!”
I hope they fine them to the point they have to sell the house.
My brother called a tree trimmer to cut back some oak trees that are on HIS property.
Tree trimmers came out, took one look and told him they wouldn’t do it - apparently they’re some kind of “ancient” oaks and protected.
Now my question is...who planted the trees and when.
“I hope they fine them to the point they have to sell the house.”
I’d shed no tears for the arrogant POS.
Tree police fail
that’s what courts are for
We live along the shore of a Corps of Engineers lake. You CANNOT get away with cutting down, thinning etc. The COE will fine you and make you purchase and plan replacement trees. At the south end of the lake where there are lots of (stupid) wealthy homeowners, fine north of $250K have been imposed.
The COE will permit you to cut trees that are a risk to life and property. They will not permit ‘convenience’ cutting. Also dead pines or pine beetle pines get permission to come down pretty readily.
When you buy on the lake, you know the rules beforehand.
The house borders national forest, and the trimmed trees are on the park land. They cut trees the gummint owns. Big oopsie.
I would imagine the company that did this work is facing some penalties as well.
Half the trees look like cr**.
Turning trees into lumber is CO2 sequestration.
His property may become an expansion to the gov’t property
before this is over with.
