Interesting and predictable. The antivaxx crowd brooks no debate with the experts who agree with them because they are actual doctors etc but totally disregard the same level of expertise when they don’t agree
I think as usual the answer lies somewhere in the middle. I think we will see a mild surge this winter as the virus settles into an endemic rather than epidemic phase, but less han we have seen in the past surges due to the numbers of vaccinated and naturally immune people. The vaccine is working we are seeing a trend towards younger people being hospitalized with covid as the older population becomes more vaccinated. I think that will hold and we will see a rise in hospitalizations but a flat death rate much as we did this spring. Of course it is inky a guess and time will tell
What I can predict with 100% accuracy is no matter what happens there will be overreaction by the government with unnecessary restrictions and more hand wringing hysteria against vaccination by the other side. And so it goes
