'scuse me for butting in, but I thought I would mention that Mrs C. runs the local veterinary clinic and she says that Blue Buffalo is virtually poison. They recommend Hill's Science Diet
I am not a veterinary doctor and have no opinion on the subject.

FWIW, virtually all vets promote Hill’s. They seem to have a corner on the vet office market. That doesn’t mean it’s good, though. I wonder how much $$$ Hill’s gives them for having those nice big food assortment displays in their waiting areas?
Most vets, like most people doctors, study little if anything about their patients’ nutritional needs. When I was on a feline nutrition and natural recipe forum, (not to imply that I cook for my cats, and FWIW again), they referred to Hill’s as “Science Died”.

Yeah, Blue Buffalo has had a LOT of recalls. I won’t use it.
