I don’t think all ff. Some regular cluster flucks, some inevitable, some could have been done better. If the US and other European countries who had treaties w/Poland kicked Germany when they invaded Poland, WW2 could have been stopped in its tracks, for instance.

In my view causing suffering to any living being is not a good thing if it can be avoided. A few years ago after all our cats finally died we got overrun, in the course of a summer he caught about 130 mice in the humane trap he invented. He took about 400 feet away to the end of the property. We think they came back... thus driving about a mile away to a good spot was the plan. Now we are overrun again and I’m going to find two cats to adopt.

Dangerous or poisonous creatures different story. Or cats...it’s their job to take care of rodents!

I’m unclear. were the down ballot state rep races voted, but not counted?

or were there no votes for down ballot state reps on these folded marked test ballots??

I tried the humane catch & release mouse traps once. We are on a farm so mice come with the territory. I hate to kill anything so each time I dutifully walked that trap 1/4 mile to the back of the property to turn them loose. I finally realized I kept catching the same mouse with the same white spot every time.

My Feists are better than most cats for killing mice but we still resort to the lethal traps. No poisons.

And then there was the time my Blackmouth Curs treed a Coon in their fenced yard. No way it was coming out of that tree with the dogs trying to climb the tree. My husband was ready to get his gun but I put the dogs in another yard and put out a live trap. The Coon was in that trap before I got back to the house. We put it in the truck and turned it loose three miles away. :-)

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) announced this weekend that he will not get vaccinated against COVID-19, explaining that he already contracted the virus last year and has “natural immunity.”

Paul, who is an ophthalmologist, said that he has not seen evidence proving the vaccine is more effective than having survived the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, otherwise known as the novel coronavirus, so he won’t get the shot.

“Until they show me evidence that people who have already had the infection are dying in large numbers, or being hospitalized or getting very sick, I just made my own personal decision that I’m not getting vaccinated because I’ve already had the disease and I have natural immunity,” Paul, who appears to be the first senator to announce he won’t get vaccinated, told WABC 770 AM on Sunday, according to news reports.
