They love dog food and will risk getting eaten by the dog to get it. About 40 years ago I was renting an old mobile home while I got my divorce. One morning I got up and found little footprints in the bathtub. The next morning the trash can in the kitchen started moving. A baby possum crawled over the edge and ran down the hall. I cornered him in the bedroom when he sulled up in the corner. I picked him up by the tail and put him outside. That happened each morning until he got too big to get in wherever he was getting in. I was eventually able to move. Lol They are pretty harmless.
I was getting nervous about all this possum bashing. I just want you all to know i too am harmless. In fact this nickname came from a bad date. No explanation needed. Lol
