You’re pressing with an anomaly with words that are stereotyping cops in general, I think.
There could be a bad cop on every police force, in every town and village, and a number of them on urban police forces, and it still wouldn’t paint all cops in general.

No. That cop brings corruption upon himself, just the same as bad mothers, bad dads, bad nurses, who kill, abuse or mock their charges, being their children or patients.
