This person sounds very self centered and selfish and simply not having the right attitude with this “Hurrah for me I’ll be ok and tsk tsk for those evildoers who dont make” sentiments.
I wouldn’t wait for the Rapture. Get saved TODAY!
I thought it was the 21st?
According to somebody.
or not
The rapture happened in September 2017. Or October. Or September 2018. Or October. Can’t recall. The dates kept changing. The rapture folks were sure, though. Something about planets and stars and Lucy in the sky. What are you all still doing here? Not rapture ready? Well, have a seat.
That’s what was constantly said for the past 150 years.
No it couldn't.
2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
However that said, as to today: [II Thess 2:3] "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come except . . . . that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition . . . . "
Lelia Morris is one of my favorite hymnodists. In 2010 I visited McConnelsville, Ohio to attend a worship service at the Trinity Methodist Church, where she was active.
The sanctuary is upstairs and one must climb steps to reach it and for this reason, it couldn't be used for the service because the law requires facilities for handicap access that the church could not afford to install. So the service was held downstairs in the social hall, named Morris Hall after their famous parishioner.
The church uses the current United Methodist hymnal which, unfortunately, does not include any of her hymns, so a few of them were pasted in. Because I had mentioned that I was attending the service because I'm a Lelia Morris fan, they changed the order of worship to include a couple of her hymns. One of them was "What If It Were Today?" and the other was "Nearer, Still Nearer." It was a thrill to sing the hymns at the place where they were written as well as to worship with fellow Methodists in a faraway state.
Are you kidding? Not even close yet.
