Maybe those of us who have been burned by the medical establishment are already cynical so we naturally research everything. But I’ve been surprised by really strong conservative Christians who have gotten it without a thought, or a maybe just little hesitation but then plunge right in. I think there is a big group of conservatives who still think Fox is “alternative media” and that’s about as far as they go…. I think the year of brainwashing has really done a number on a lot of people and has really put them into a mindset of fear… Not a good thing for liberty…

Yeah, I know quite a few really strong conservative Christians who have gotten jabbed without a single thought. I can think of three wise older women who have said “no”, though - one who was on the fence at first, but we urged her to pray about it, and very shortly after that, she cancelled her appointment to get it. But they’re in a minority in their age group, for sure. We’re even in a minority in ours, though most of our closest friends are in the “control group” along with us.
I can’t say I’ve ever been “burned”, since I’ve not had anything to do with the medical establishment since I was still a minor... can’t really remember what caused my mistrust, whether it was recoiling at seeing how others were treated, or what it was. Before even researching, though, my initial response has always been “Forget it!” So, no doctor’s exams for me, nor their endless testing in the name of preventative care. Why do I need a “wellness checkup” if I’m well? Never made sense, always smelled like a scam.. Prevention to me is living healthily. I’ve even had a serious injury that I didn’t go to the ER for, but treated myself, as well as a half dozen minor ones. Yeah, I’m a little obstinate.. lol ... but at my age, that’s not gonna change, and who cares any more? The Lord knows the number of my days, and that’s good enough for me.
