That’s what many modern American evangelicals are being taught by their pastors...who were taught such in their seminaries.
We hear a lot about that.
That, and the “Prosperity gospel”, both can skirt Presumption, toward the will of the Almighty, rather than offering an Appeal *For* God’s will.
Some do seem to posit All blessing, All rescue, all the time, no chastisement, no judgement, like ever.
If our Lord delivers consequences and sure chastisements, and always has, then America is in no way exempt.
