Authorities have arrested a man who police believe severed his finger while slashing his neighbor's car tires after an argument.
The Casa Grande Dispatch reported that the Maricopa Police Department said Kevin Johnson was arrested and identified as the owner of the finger found on his neighbor's driveway.

I heard the argument was over the forensic audit.
Not everyone has their DNA on file. In fact probably most do not.

When I was 17 I had a non locking folder close up on my finger while I was backpacking two days out from town.
Luckily there was a group of college people nearby that fixed it up with their first aid kit. Still have the scar.
Have used a locking folder ever since.
Well, he was her neighbor. I imagine someone noticed that guy across the street was missing a finger the day after a severed finger was found in the street.
So he was fingered for the crime
An earlier article stated that there was a blood trail leading back to the suspect’s house.
One suspects that beer was also involved.
We could change the headline to “man arrested after slashing women’s tires and giving her the finger!
