Quite some time ago when first the hints of opprobrium became apparent somebody at the Oscars said, “This isn’t good. Either we’re going to have to change or the audience is.” They’re still waiting for the audience to change.
What business model is Hollywood following? If any business or nonprofit saw this big a drop so quickly, the stock prices would tumble and management would be canned. If the movie industry is being propped up by leftist billionaires or the Chinese, they would have to reconsider their propaganda investment because the percentage of the population watching the “entertainment” is shrinking to NPR or mainline Protestant church levels, in other words, to irrelevance.
They make most of their money overseas now. Why they kissed up to Hitler in the 30s, didn’t want to lose access to the German market.

One would have to have watched the show to know that.
But it is the emerging trend in all commercials. Once Flo and the ATT chick are done that is it for whites in commercials. The last non-animated white male regular spokesman was “Mayhem” who I loved.

Good question. There’s a big difference between keeping a few losing newspapers and TV News propaganda outlets alive vs Hollywood. To keep funding Hollywood’s losses is more $ than Soros can bear. It’s a huge difference between a few million to keep NPR, CNN and MSNBC going vs billions to propup failing MGM and Warner Brothers.
They're the only ones in the target age demographic that still watches live broadcasts. The other viewers are old white women but they aren't a large target demographic for advertisers.
Most others "cut the cord" completely or "cut the cord" and switched to streaming services. They don't watch these poorly made movies much less the award shows about them.

I grew up in the late 50s/early60s and played Little League baseball on a team based in the black part of Dayton due to the location of the team’s sponsor. As one of the few white kids, we all just played baseball - no color was seen.
What changed for me was OJ slaughtering 2 whites - almost beheading Nicole. His guilt was clear...yet the blacks not only blindly believed he was innocent but celebrated the verdict.
