I cannot stand the coarsening of our society. I’m very old school like you, I can’t stand the coarse language, violence, disrespect (for others and self) sloppy dress, and general trashiness. A complete lack of self discipline and self control. You can really tell the difference when you look at newsreels from 40s and 50s (even some from 60s, 70s and 80s still had some civilization to them), or at old photograph albums. The communists have done a number on our society and culture.

Newsreels are just that. They certainly would not film the ghettos or slums. Yes they existed in the 30’s , 40’s and beyond to this very day.
But you can turn on the info box (tv) and watch those commercials where everyone is sporting the latest fashions, car, perfect house etc. And to some extent those things are out there in the real world.
We have always been a course people. And yes the leftists/demoncrats/communists are purposely making it worse.
