Well said. When I’m certain I’ve moved out of His presence because of my pathetic walk; He always finds a way to assure me that I’m still His. Once I was beating myself up while driving home from work and all but throwing in the towel in a pathetic lament to the Lord. Along the way I turned my head to the left where I thought I saw a herd of sheep behind a fence. “Your still mine” rose from within as I passed them. That stilled the storm in my heart but then I started wondering if they were really goats but it didn’t matter.
My pastor used to say that people say sheep are stupid but he thinks they are smart because they know they need the shepherd.
