Every party will have things you like about them and things you will not like about them.
And absolutely no party cares about a single individual including you. A party look at things at a whole and from a political lens.
I think the GOP has transformed in a big way since Bush. Just look at the the made in America push.

I’m done with parties period. I was a Republican for 40+ years. The GOP is dead to me.

I received some crap in the mail wanting money from the NRC even though I left the party over 3 months ago for the 1st time in 35 years.
I told them since they folded against President Trump they can take their donation request and shove it up their @ss and mailed the form back to them at their own expense.
I am tempted to change my registration. However, I also like working as an election official on election day, so I will keep my Republican registration.
No, the dems win because:
1. They have people placed in key positions through all levels of govt from city to state to federal
2. They own the media, Hollywood, and ink media.
3. They circle the wagons. Every time. They rarely if EVER hang one of their own out to dry.
4. And they CHEAT. Easy to do when you own the courts.

I made the switch from Republican to Independent after the election and I still get regular mail asking to change back, give money, or whatever. I love the postage paid ones - I can vent all over their “survey” asking them to censure Romney (I’m from Utah). It’s quite cathartic:)
We need to care about elected Republicans as much as they care about representing us. It was quite refreshing not caring who won the GA Senate run offs. Both GOP Senators later voted to disenfranchise us and deserved to lose.

Not at all. The GOP certainly cares about a single individual if your their name is Tom Donahue and they are CEO of the Chamber of Commerce. Now I will agree with you about GOP base voters. The GOP couldn’t care less about us and are busy importing voters to replace us.
Man what took you so long! I haven’t given a dime to the repubes since the second term of Regan. They were repubes back then and are repubes today. RINOs and Tea Party congress critters are one in the same. Talk a good game until elected then as the Queen of France once quipped, “Let them eat cake.” We are well past the 100 days of terror.
