Hello all
Good morning, Dolly. I fish sometimes. While at the camp I like to sit out by the water and watch the wild life , boats , kayakers, etc. So relaxing.
to my two comcadres in the “STAB SQUAD” had infustion on Wed. took 3 nurses 5 tries to get a good IV/stab. The second nurse was in tears - as was I.
Jem. I want to get your way & see you before you leave but until I move financially through my property will not have $$ for vehicle to make it a reality
my home has not been razed yet. I have sooooo much of value I would like to rescue. but no physical ability, no albe friends, no $ to hire anyone, no place to put anything. I guess God is telling me regularly... “STUFF” is not important. I am. sigh. the struggles of materialism vs spiritual awareness.
Have caught up every day on the thread and everyone’s news.
Still cooking and learning. (like until 2 days ago had no idea what a smash burger was and wow.. whole restaurants devote.. huge groups..
my recent culinary chow - first time for spring rolls.. easy and really good. I love them at chinese restaurants but I can eat MANY at any given time & they can be pricey. I know what is in mine & how prepared safely.
Made Jen a couple steaks.. a couple days ago SAlmon and today again. A few wonderful side stir fries..experimenting with homemade steak/french fries.. some wild and wierd breakfasts.
we’ve had a LOT of rain.. a lot. When I was driving home from the infustion appt the rain was torrential the whole way (y’ know the white knuckle variety) and many streets deeply flooded. I was driving slowly and cautiously. Of course many were driving like bats out of hell at insanse speeeds.
My caution due to accident I was in a couple decades ago hydroplaning on water in storm. car flipped many times into culvert... not driveable. In NY 3 hours from home.
Rusty I hope you are healing well. You have surely had enough of the pain and med issues.
Cotton.. everyone on this train who has had pets is with you big time, understanding the love, heartbreak, frustrtion of having a wonderful pet who is probably past their lifespan, hurting medically but still a loving member of the family. NO ONE can fully understand each persons pain and struggles. We can accept something intelligently but accepting it in heart and soul is quite another thing.
