I could be wrong (and working from memory, probably am!), but wasn’t Barr’s appointment considered a good thing at the time? The same as Jeff Sessions and James Mattis? I’m sure there’s others but as I said, I’m working from memory. LOL
I recall Barr being the tough guy who was afraid of nobody and was going to bring down the hammer.
I recall Sessions was afraid of nobody and always did the right thing and would bring down the hammer.
I recall Mad Dog Mattis was as tough as nails and nobody but nobody messed with him.
Heck, I even remember James Comey was a no-nonsense guy who was going to bring down the hammer. IIRC, Judge Jeanine wound up admitting how wrong she was about this slimeball.
Also, wasn’t Huber another? Durham (so far, nadda)? Was there another “investigator” involved somewhere along the line that was going to ensure that justice prevailed? So much hype. So few results.
Just to go on record: I never thought that Sessions should be Attorney General. I liked him as our senator and there he did a good job. But, as AG, he was a HUGE disappointment.
You’re not wrong. Hindsight is 20/20.
