I get annoyed when I see their, there, and especially they’re used incorrectly.

On the other hand when I dictate it gets it wrong at least half the time. And it definitely gets those ’ words wrong. I get sick of correcting it, so most times I leave it. I figure I’m at risk of looking ignorant but it’s better than wasting my time! Not that I’m doing anything useful with it but I might someday

Between auto correct and voice activated typing, many spelling or grammar mistakes occur, which people often don’t bother to correct. I’m very surprised when, on other threads, some people feel compelled to correct other people’s mistakes. Unless it’s flipping positive and negative, we can usually interpret what the person actually meant.

My youngest daughter is always using (are) for (our). Drives me crazy. I have told her several times to stop and think about it. She told me that (are) is always what comes up and she isn’t going to bother to fix it.
