Sweet! Especially since it’s an older cat. The cat i have now may be closing in on 2, and I have always tried to have 2 cats to keep each other company. He attacks me because he doesn’t have another cat to play with. But if I can’t try another cat out to see if they got along, then I’m not ready for it if its a stressful situation. A lot of places have foster programs, but apparently not here.

The cat my grandson got was turned over to the humane society by the people who adopted her when she was 2 and she was pretty much an outdoor cat. They eventually moved into an apartment so she had to become an indoor cat. Then they decided to get a younger cat and she didn’t take to the younger cat. So instead of giving up the younger cat they got rid of the one they had for several years. I think that is a terrible thing to do. My grandson says she is so loving and a lap cat.
