"So called news media may not even know the difference between a voice vote and a secret recorded vote."

I just read/listened to several different news reports trying to find exactly how it was done and this is what I got. Some say voice vote. some recorded vote.and some say secret recorded, and others say secret voice.

I am not sure how you have a secret voice vote unless it means no one was allowed in except those voting.
