Maybe they’re wanting to know your opinion but don’t want to come right out and ask because they’re afraid they’ll be berated? Not saying you would, but based on some of the posters here on FR discussing the subject...
And to be honest, I don’t know that someone wanting or taking the shot doesn’t mean a person isn’t conservative. The Trump family has had the shot, I think Cruz has had it, Ron DeSantis received the J&J shot, etc. Not saying that means everyone should follow suit; just that I don’t know that someone who takes the vaccine should be removed from the ‘conservative’ column.

I haven’t gotten one yet but that doesn’t mean I might change my mind and get one.
True, I don’t think accepting the vaccine has anything to do with political leanings. The reason I’m not taking it is because it’s in the test phase, and I don’t usually take vaccines anyway. But it has nothing to do with politics.
