This happened to my sister Judy when she moved from Ca. to Texas a few months ago. She was getting a mobile home to put on her daughters ranch. She did move in with them cause it wasn’t ready. She is in her mobile home now, but it did cause a lot of friction in the family. I wonder if finding a used motor home to live in for awhile would be an option. A lot of people do that when they are building a home, so they just live in the motor home till the house is built. Hope it all works out.

It all depends on the families.

My youngest daughter and family moved in with us for 3-4 months when they sold their trailer and was having a house built. The following year we sold our house and moved in with them for 4 months while we were having our new house built. Oh there were times but in the long run it worked out real well.

I do have some concerns, Redding. Heck, there are days I don’t want me around.....I’m sure it’s not impossible for someone else to feel that way lol.

I think we’d just pay to stay at a decent hotel for a month or two. We could go where we wanted during the day....important to not assume that I’d be appreciated in the house all day, every day, and all night.
