I wonder how much it would cost to hire someone for an hour vs. a few days in a hospital or having to go in a nursing home??

When I told my doctor I hate those things in my nose as it it hard enough for me to breath through my nose as it is. So I end up breathing through my mouth and my mouth ends up dry as cardboard. She suggested the mask but I am happy to get your input as I also am a side sleeper.

Yes I live alone since my husband passed away in Feb. 2020. A friend of mine got one of those and during the night she rolled over in her sleep and her breast turned the alert on. The emergency people came and (I guess they have a keypad at the door and a code to get in) She was so embarrassed. Also the monthly fee is a fortune. So I don’t think I want one of those especially since I toss and turn all night. I would really keep them busy dashing to my house. :-)
Hi Granny! I would like to know what the outcome was of your husbands tests? Was it a year or two ago? I know they wanted him to come back in was it 6 months or 1 year and he was balking about it. Did you finally get him to go and what was the findings?

Probably a fortune that is IF you could even find someone to do it.
I needed something to do to get me out of the house as I have been pretty much cooped up for 1 1/2 years. I will try to go slow at it.
My mouth drops open too because of a jaw implant gone wrong but anyway, CVS carries a good product called dry mouth gel.
It feels kind of slippery, but it will keep your mouth moist and you can use it as many times as you need to.
There is also a nice product called AYR nose gel that you can apply to the inside of your nose with a Q-Tip (or the tip of your finger) to help dry stuffy nose that 02 users sometime get.
I use a H20 water concentrater that you fill with DISTLLED water ONLY. This has been foud to be the best relief that I
have found to help. and the people that provide your equipment can deliver it to you.

I do use the Biotin Gel from Walmart. It still seems like I am having to apply it every 3 hours. I also have that gadget to hook up the distilled water, I just never did it. If you think it helps I will hook that up is I can remember how. Thanks for all your info.
