Morning lysie! Thanks for the yumminess. More nice weather up this way. The construction of new surveys continues all around me. My view from my raised deck is no longer a nice farmer’s field, it it excavators, bulldozers, steam-shovels, flattened out dirt and lots and lots and lots of lots.
I need to get out of here. I am not fond of people around me a the best of times. I don’t want them right in my face as I sit on my deck in my jammies and have my coffee. Although, one view of me sitting in my jammies early in the morning might train them to stay in their houses until I’m done!
I know we go back and forth on the Train about Pence, but the whole Fauci fiasco is what confirmed Pence’s traitor status for me. Unless I read it wrong, I understood that Pence was the one who brought Fauci to President Trump.

I know what you mean. I hate to see farmland for sale because oftentimes it means construction of 3 story apartments. Once farmland is gone you can't get it back. If I had millions of dollars I would buy it just to save it. Perhaps offer it to a want to be farmer rental free.
Lovely thought, lysie.....letting wanna-be farmers used the land, rent free, or even purchase it at a discounted price, interest-free. Would be nice to be that wealthy lol. Do you suppose that’s what Gates of Hell is doing with all of the farm land he now has his evil hands on?

Joe Biden Diverts Healthcare Cash to Help Illegal Migrants

President Joe Biden has taken $2 billion from Americans’ healthcare programs to help deliver migrant youths and children to their illegal-migrant parents throughout the United States, press reports say.
“The Department of Health and Human Services [HHS] has diverted more than $2 billion meant for other health initiatives toward covering the cost of caring for unaccompanied immigrant children,” Politico reported May 15. The article continued:
The redirected funds include $850 million that Congress originally allocated to rebuild the nation’s Strategic National Stockpile, the emergency medical reserve strained by the Covid-19 response. Another $850 million is being taken from a pot intended to help expand coronavirus testing, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.
In addition to transferring money from the Strategic National Stockpile and Covid-19 testing, HHS also has pulled roughly $436 million from a range of existing health initiatives across the department.
The program costs are expected to reach almost $9 billion by October according to a leaked report in the New York Times.
The transfer of funding to the growing population of more than 50,000 foreign children and youths means fewer resources for lower-profile American kids, as their diverse American parents are damaged by the Chinese virus, cheap labor migration, job losses, housing costs, drugs, or homelessness.

When I grew up in SF bay area, there were so many ranches, vineyards and orchids. Most are gone now, replaced by houses that all look the same with tiny yards and by shopping malls.
I believe in property rights, but Oregon limited city expansion and it’s nice.
