Then he made that statement to take credit for the vaccine rollout that really occurred under Trump, and the interviewer nor any follow-up media coverage took issue with that obviously false statement. So to a significant number of people, it is the “truth.”
He claimed there were no vaccines available because he was never vaccinated in December. That whole thing was just a staged PR stunt.
