From the OP’s linked article: According to a tweet from Austin-Travis County EMS, three people have been killed in a shooting on the northwest side of the city. Austin Police Interim Chief Joseph Chacon says they have identified the suspect as Stephen Nicholas Broderick.
That is the name authorities released as name of suspect.
