The very first link loops back to the same article.
Something doesn’t smell right.
I believe the links jump further down the page to each section of the article.
It is easier to navigate and I see this used frequently with long articles.
It also makes it easier to share links to a specific section of a web page.
My understanding only...

That just proves the editors at GGI have weak interwebz skills in this instance ( ie: essentially made a typo).

This bears watching and looking into. I wouldn’t take them at there word.
When the whole Covid 19 came on the scene these guys,GGI,
identified this virus as a man made Chimera.
They were shouted down and derided and suppressed.
They were later proved correct so I wouldn’t dismiss them out of hand.
