The doctrines of religion are typically founded and agreed to by intelligent and serious men.
They are laid out for others to accept or reject.

Some, though, agree with the overall concept that is foundational to a religion but, desire to pick and choose the doctrines they think are “most” correct.
See, doctrines are devised by men ergo, they can be corrected by men without harming the foundation.
This is a false premise but instructional.

The culture now defines the not just the various doctrines but also what is and isn’t a religion.
But, once a system is determined (by the culture) as a religion, then the doctrines underpinning that religion can be manipulated to reflect the desires of men.

In this day, Science has been determined to be a Religion.
There are multiple doctrines of sex/gender but only one Science; go ahead and have a “lopitoffame” surgery.
There are multiple doctrines of “life” but only one Science; go ahead and terminate that inconvenient pregnancy.
The thought is that rendering specific doctrines inconsequential doesn’t really harm the foundation that is Science.

Trust the science...it’s Science.
