IMO, a long time before. He had to lose to finish draining the swamp. The swamp is deep and wide and he realized early in his first time it was going to take longer than he thought. No way he could spend another four years fighting them while running the country. They had/have to go to get the country back.
I think the night before the presenting of the electoral votes to Congress, when Pence dropped out of the fight. Trump kept up a good front always, but I think he was . . . let's say disappointed.

after the 10/22/2020 debate, President Trump leaving the stage was overheard saying “Let’s finish this”.
Assuming the “Q” interpreter is correct...I wonder when Pres. Trump knew he was going to lose?

11/3/2020 President Tump and his confidants watched the deep state’s online vote count repeatedly flip his votes to Biden. I think it’s likely he knew before hand they were going to steal the vote, and how they would do it.
Therefore, there is evidence that their strategy was to document everything for later, and let the ‘show’ go forward, to give the world a taste of what the Dems have in mind before calling a halt to it, and in the background clean house during a time the left would not want to destabiize the ‘sitting’ president .
