“Welcome. I was trying to find article on the student in Cincinatti that died after J&J. Wonder how Deswine feels about making students get these now? never mind, sure he feels nothing.”
I somehow missed this. I don’t remember them talking about this. Maybe they did when I went out to the garage to get an iced tea.
Summer is coming and my ability to store food in the garage is ending. The one good thing about winter is having an extra refrigerator. Sigh.
Interesting Twitter thread on to vax or not to vax courtesy of ImpImp and today’s Flubros thread.

Above is an excellent analysis about why vaccine passports are bad and why unvaccinated people tremendously help protect vaccinated people. The key is that repeated exposure to a circulating respiratory virus, from unvaccinated people getting infected, acts as a booster shot for vaccinated individuals. I have linked to this guy’s Twitter account before as he has analyzed many Coronavirus topics in the past year.

One of the reasons that Coronavirus deaths in Florida and Texas has gone down relative to other lockdown/masking states is that people just don’t care to get tested because it is nothing more that a mild sniffle for most. A mild sniffle in a blue state, on the other hand, will motivate the typical lefty who lives there to immediately get tested. Coronavirus basically goes away, if you ignore it. It becomes nothing more than one of hundreds of endemic respiratory viruses that will never go away, but rarely kill.
