Mom has constant UTI’s. The doctors say it’s from the C-diff and diarrhea but you are probably right about the colonoscopy causing it to begin with. She has had digestive issues for years and multiple colonoscopies.

Cologuard is definitely the way to go if you aren’t high risk. The doctor can order it and have it sent to you. You do the test and send it back by UPS within a certain time frame. Since it’s DNA based it has a limit on how long it can sit before processing. I think it’s 24 to 48 hours. My granddaughter was working at Staples at the time and sent mine off for me. I refuse to do another colonoscopy.

You and me both. I’m over 70, and when it comes to another colonoscopy, “up with that I will not put”.
