What length of time elapsed between the last shot and the allergic reactions (hives, etc)?

She was really sick and sore the first three days and the hives started after that so maybe a week.

Her son wouldn’t let the grandson around her until she got the vaccine. I think it was for her protection since kids are such little spreaders. I didn’t have the heart to tell her the vaccine probably wouldn’t help. She is immune compromised and thought it would help but she didn’t really want to take it. A lot of elderly are being pressured into to it in order to see family.

Same thing happened to my mom. She took it because 1)she has bad lungs and 2) she missed being around family. I cringed the first picture she showed after taking her shots of her snuggle up with her great-great-grandkids that are only about 3 & 5. She’s bedridden most of the time (87) and won’t survive COVID and maybe not the shots.
