For those who wondered when Nike would start to make its mark on Major League Baseball, wonder no more. After previously introducing “ColorRush” and “City” uniforms to the NFL and NBA respectively, this morning Nike has dropped its new “City Connect” series on the baseball world.
Just one team will see their new City Connect uniform unveiled today at launch, the Boston Red Sox. Following this, the program will slowly expand across the rest of the league over the course of several seasons.
All that’s missing in the pink or rainbow fag colors.
Should MLB restore the All-Star game to Atlanta and apologize for their gross mistreatment of the fans throughout Georgia I might be interested in professional baseball again ... maybe.

I think orange (echoing the Giants) and blue (echoing the Dodgers) were meant to echo NYC's previous National League teams, for which the Mets were created to replace.
More recently the Mets have worn black accents ( black being the Giants' other color).

I have yet to meet a single person who has even mentioned the Red Sox this year. This team can’t even sell out its maximum covid capacity of 4000. Their tv ratings are in the gutter. Going woke has killed off 3/4 of their fanbase. Talk about clueless.

Yellow suits them, actually, since yellow is attached with the meaning of cowards! Too cowardly to stand up and fight for the country, let them wear their yellow and see what patriots really think. This may just be the season that they do so poorly that they don’t make it in the playoffs. Looks like they urinated all over themselves before they could come out.
People are not fond of cowards and since the major leagues of every ball, regardless of type, seem to be thinking that wokeness is a badge of honor, we should ignore every one of their games this season. Maybe by next season they could see the real light! It certainly won’t hurt us to sit this season out, but let’s hope it does hurt them enough to change.

Loyal fans waited what? 60 years or whatever for the redsox to win a pendant, and then they do, and a few years later they pull this crap? It was bad enough the redsox went woke on lgbtq no sense, but this is it. Done.
(Actually we were done following them and rooting for them several years ago with the whole blm crap, but this move, along with the blm nonsense, We might returned IF they realized their mistake in going woke, and supporting domestic terrorists blm, but now with this gay nonsense a permanent part of their agenda it seems now, absolutely makes certain we Will Not return to watching them.)
Apparently sports teams dont want any actual sane viewers anymore. They are doing everything In their power to drive safe fans away. Sadly though not enough will boycott their nonsense to make a large enough impact.

Any decline in attendance will be blamed on COVID 19 concerns. It will never be due to the protests. I just hope the Feds don’t bail them out.
