You don’t pay an anesthesiologist to put you to sleep, you pay him to wake you up again.

George Washington was not buried until 3 days after his death. He had requested the wait so that he would not be buried alive.

The bizarre discovery was made at Australia's first "body farm" - a facility where medical and forensic scientists can study human decomposition in action.Imagine coming home after an especially grueling day down at the "body farm" and your wife asking you, "So, how was your day, Honey?"
How would you reply?

When Rodney Dangerfield went under the knife for heart surgery he said these things were common these days and either he’d be back afterwards or he wouldn’t be. He never returned.

Hilarious movie ("Return of the Living Dead"). A trivia notation somewhere said that the director told an agent to "Bring in the skinniest actor you can find." for the "BRAINS!" character. They brought in a guy SO skinny, they had to pad him.
My brother-in-law was a stand-in for James Karen in, IIRC, the second movie of "Return". He said that Karen once told him that he was getting too old for this stuff.
We were invited to watch them do a scene in Monte Vista, CA, which was just a hop and a skip from Monrovia where we lived (one of the suburbs of L.A.). It was alread evening and they took HOURS to film a scene that lasted a few minutes in the movie - where the dead stop by a TV store and watch the display. We left at midnight and they were still doing takes.
What cracked us up, in an "only in California moment" was when a zombie girl walked by us with a dead cat saying "Hs tail isn't twitching - gotta get new batteries." On the corner was a soda-shop type of store and inside some of the zombies were sipping malts through a straw (makeup), and casually chatting away. Really looked weird but comical at the same time.
LOTS of neat trivia HERE.

My body doesn’t have a “significant” amount of movement and I’m not even dead yet, mostly.
Sounds like maybe I have to die to get a better cardio routine.

Several years ago, I found a time-lapse video of a baby pig decomposing. Yes, there is quite a bit of movement caused by the various decay processes. The body bloats and deflates, the limbs move around when rigor mortis relaxes, and also as the tissues degrade. In the time-lapse, the body is never still. There is life in the body, the life of the billions of microorganisms that consume the tissues during the process of decomposition. Thanks for demystifying this piece...
