I have felt the same way.
I’ve managed a year without catching the damn thing; I can wait for a traditional vaccine, of which I’ve had many over my lifetime, with no ill-effects.

Well, you’ve waited that long, I guess you can wait until May when the Novavax vaccine likely will be available. It’s more of a traditional vaccine but also has very high efficacy in trials. I had intended to get that vaccine but the Moderna came along so I got that one instead of waiting.
The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is a traditional vaccine.
