We have been at war with Russia and China for quite a few years. It’s just that modern warfare doesn’t necessarily use nukes or conventional forces.
China uses an all of the country infiltration, stealing, etc. They have been more competent than USSR was, and the Church and institutions in the USA are very much weaker than they were during the cold war. And the oligarchy became more powerful.
